This Japanese restaurant popped up quite recently on Kings Cross Road. A group of us from the office ventured there to try it out and, despite it being fairly deserted when we got there, we were treated to a great value lunch. You can see everything being prepared by two chefs in the open kitchen space, and the service was quick and friendly.
I had the vegetable tempura soup and sushi combo for the £7.50 lunch offer price. The soup came with loads of chunky fresh rice noodels and yummy soggy tempura veggies – delicious. The californian rolls were well made and served up with a very generous amount of fresh ginger and wasabi. There are other veggie options too such as vegetable noodles or tofu salad.
With the winter sun streaming in through the windows it was hard to go back to work, but we’ll be back soon for more no doubt!
